2020 Haibike FLYON Range Electric Bicycle - End of 2020....

$16,995.00

*UPDATE* Due to a range of production issues the FLYON model is not likely to arrive in Australia until a new distributor is appointed for Haibike. The good news is there are plenty of other bikes with high torque mid drive motors and the same spec to choose from. Especially Rocky Mountain which has a 108nm mid drive motor.

The release of the FLYON range at the July 2018 Eurobike blew everyone away. Featuring the TQ Super powered motor this bike is redefining what we expect from E Mountain Bikes.

Featuring a 48V system with a 630Wh integrated and removable battery that will power the 120Nm TQ Mid drive motor. Haibike is the first major manufacturer to use the TQ motor.

Instead of a commercially available speed sensor, Haibike uses a sensor disc that was previously only used in ABS systems. With 18 impulses per revolution, the system is much more precise than previous solutions, and a specially coded disc prevents tampering.

The Skybeamer headlamp carries the design philosophy with a striking daytime light. The main light can be activated manually or via a light sensor and offers a low and a high beam. The high beam puts out an incredible 5000 lumens and is StVZO approved, thanks to the new regulations. At the rear Haibike has integrated taillights on both sides of the dropouts, a neat solution and a further distinguishing feature.

Pricing is expected to start from around $9,995 AUD. There are many models available although we don't know what we will get in Australia. The full listing of models is below.

All FLYON bikes belong to the XDURO series and are available in many models. With 180 mm of travel, the XDURO NDURO is the top end model concerning off-road performance; there will be three NDURO models featuring the new technology. The top of the range XDURO NDURO 10.0 is the new flagship of the NDURO line and costs an impressive €8,999. The XDURO NDURO 5.0 goes for €6,299 and rounds off the series.

The XDURO ALLMTN will also come in three FLYON models and for the first time uses mixed wheel sizes with 29″ in the front and 27.5″ at the rear. The TQ bikes cost between € 5,999 and € 8,999. With the XDURO ALLTRAIL, Haibike has presented a new hardtail series with a long reach, slack head angle and 140 mm forks to appeal to aggressive riders. The ALLTRAIL is available exclusively with the TQ motor, and there will be two models to choose from.

Stay in touch to find out when these become available.
