  Thanks to the efficient Bosch Performance Line CX system, you can ride more trails in the same time. The powerful e-drive with a torque of up to 85 Nm makes sure uphill with the FOCUS SAM² 6.9 is fun as well. Even though the motor has got your back on climbs, you can still easily control your full-suspension bike, also in toughest conditions. The slide-out battery with 750 Wh can be charged via the integrated charging port at the bike’s seat tube. Alternatively, you can also remove the battery easily and fast. There is no need for any tools. Just unlock the buckle and open the cover to slide out the battery.

• • • • BIKE DESIGN FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE IN ANY SITUATION
        Thanks to the long wheelbase and slack head angle, the FOCUS SAM² 6.9 rides super stable even at high speed in roughest terrain. It has a perfect stiffness-to-weight ratio because the slide-out battery only requires a minimal cut-out in the down tube. Further, the battery is placed as low as possible into the down tube. This frame design improves the bike's centre of gravity and makes this e-MTB more stable on descents. The low stand-over height gives you generous space for moving and enables you to handle your bike perfectly in technical terrain. By turning the headset cups, you can easily change the head angle of your FOCUS SAM² 6.9 according to your riding preferences from 64.5° to 63.5°.

• • • • MADE FOR THE ROUGHEST TRAILS
        The kinematics of our FOCUS SAM² 6.9 is made for the roughest rides. Our upgraded F.O.L.D. (FOCUS Optimised Linkage Design) is the core component of this bike and optimised for its purpose. It allows the integrated coil shock to work best. With 180/170 mm travel, a suspension fork with 38 mm stanchions and fast 29" wheels, the FOCUS SAM² 6.9 is ready to shred. You can always rely on strong Shimano brakes. Thanks to the sturdy alloy wheelset, you can smash through rock gardens, hit jumps, and send gaps at full speed.

GEOMETRY FOR THE ROUGHEST TRAILS
Thanks to the long wheelbase and slack head angle, the FOCUS SAM rides super stable even at high speed in roughest terrain. Yet, the geometry doesn't hold you back on uphills as the steep and frame-size specific seat angle places your body right in the centre of your bike. This position helps you climbing even steepest hills

LOW AND CENTRAL POINT OF GRAVITY
Battery and drive unit are perfectly integrated into the e-MTB's frame giving the SAM a slim look. Further, the battery is placed as low as possible into the down tube. This frame design improves the bike's centre of gravity and makes the full suspension bike more stable on descents. The low stand-over height gives you generous space for moving and enables you to handle your bike perfectly in technical terrain.

KINEMATICS DESIGNED FOR DOWN
The kinematics of our FOCUS SAM is made for the roughest rides: smashing through rock gardens, hitting jumps, and sending gaps at full speed. Our F.O.L.D. (FOCUS Optimised Linkage Design) kinematics is the core component of this bike and optimised for its purpose. It allows the integrated coil shock to work best.

The FOCUS SAM offers enough support to push hard or send it while providing enough bottom-out resistance to absorb hits when it gets rowdy
The spring rate of this e-MTB differs depending on your bike size, resulting in a perfectly balanced bike.

BOSCH PERFORMANCE CX E-DRIVE

Thanks to the efficient Bosch Performance CX system, you can ride more trails in the same time. The powerful e-drive with a torque of up to 85 Nm makes sure uphill with the FOCUS SAM² is fun as well. Even though the motor has got your back on climbs, you can still easily control your full-suspension bike, also in toughest conditions.

You can choose between four different riding modes: Eco, Tour+, eMTB and Turbo. The dynamic and progressive eMTB mode enables you to tackle the most technically demanding trails with ease, even uphill. On top, you can individualize your riding modes according to your preferences via the eBike Flow app.

Smart features like eBike Lock, smart walking assistance and hill hold enhance your experience further.

SLIDE-OUT BATTERY WITH UP TO 750 WH

Our SAM² features a perfect stiffness-to-weight ratio because the slide-out battery only requires a minimal cut-out in the down tube. Compared to its predecessors, the bike frame became way lighter and compensates the extra weight of additional battery capacity. Still, it doesn't compromise on stability at high speed and rough descents.

EASY HEAD ANGLE ADJUSTMENT
By turning the headset cups, you can easily adjust the head angle of your e-MTB according to your riding preferences. If you prefer a more agile bike handling, the steeper head angle (64.5°) is your Perfect Match. Switching the headset cups to the slack position (63.5°) results in a more downhill-oriented setting. This head angle adjustment won't have any effect on the seat angle or other bike parameters.
CLEAN AND GOOD LOOKING COCKPIT
Thanks to the specially developed C.I.S. (Cockpit Integration Solution), the cockpit of the JAM looks super clean.
All cables run from the handlebar into the stem and through the headset into the frame of this e-MTB. The C..S. also ensures constantly seamless shifting and braking.
