Refunds and Warranty Policy

SEB Sales

Sydney Electric Bikes is in the business of keeping our customers happy and getting the most out of their electric bicycle purchase. We generally stock ebikes and kits with well known quality brands. Our warranty policy is based on the manufacturer, in general a warranty period of 2 years applies on all electrical components. SEB warranty does not include service time on the bikes to replace and swap out ebike components. Warranty does not include general wear and tear or any damage caused by the customer. SEB has a workshop for electrical repairs and will be more than happy to repair bikes. General bike maintenance such as brake or gear adjustments do not fall under warranty but SEB is more than happy to conduct that service for our customers.

SEB does not offer refunds for a change of mind or if a customer refuses replacement of any faulty electrical components.

Please also note that manufacturers warranty does not apply generally to ebikes used for commercial use such as food delivery work or courier work.

SEB Hire

Sydney Electric Bikes will refund any hire fee if a SEB is deemed to have failed mechanically during the hire period. This does not include damage to the SEB caused by the hirer or any mechanical failure due to misuse or inappropriate use of the SEB.

Each SEB hire is accompanied with a fact sheet about the particular model which includes how to care for the bike whilst in your possession. A failure to read this fact sheet or follow it's instructions will void any refund offer made by SEB.
